High-Quality Therapy From the Comfort of Your Home or Office
No traffic, no travel time, no awkward waiting rooms. Just easy access to quality care.
Not everyone can drive to an office for counseling. Many of my clients have told me that fighting Atlanta traffic is too difficult for them. Others have symptoms of neurodivergence or autism that make driving more difficult for their senses. Still, others live too far away to conveniently drive.
That’s completely fine with me in most cases, and I’ve made my services available via online video conference, also called “telehealth”.
This also allows me to help people from Georgia’s more rural areas. As someone who spent his first 20 years in Brantley County, GA, I understand the challenges of finding quality counseling for your specific issues in rural areas. I also respect the unique challenges of rural culture, especially when neurodivergence is present. Now I can help you navigate this from your computer in your house!
Therapy from [almost] anywhere
One of the greatest changes in the healthcare field to ever occur happened in 2020. The Covid-19 pandemic advanced our societal acceptance of healthcare by 10 years in just a few months! Today, we have several high-quality, secure platforms on which to conduct therapy sessions.
Now, many of my clients routinely see me from the comfort of their homes or offices. Some will log-in from their parked cars while in their driveway for a more private meeting spot.
In fact, I can generally meet with you from almost anywhere, as long as I know where you are, you are in a private area, you are in the state of Georgia, and you are not actively driving.
Available across the Peach State
No matter where you are in Georgia, you can benefit from my telehealth services. Hiawassee to Moultrie, Dalton to Folkston, I’m available and ready to serve you. My expertise is in helping people with symptoms of Anxiety, ADHD, Autism-Level 1, and Life Transitions, but I can also help with a variety of other issues.
How Does Online Therapy Work?
Secure Video Chat from your chosen location.
Here’s how the process of attending your first online counseling appointment works: First, you contact me using the contact information provided on this site or click “schedule a free consultation” and follow the prompts to choose a time that works best for you. Next, you’ll receive an email with a link to join your consultation appointment. (Note: This appointment may also occur by phone.) When it is time for your appointment, you’ll need to click the link, enter your name, and follow the prompts to join me in a secure virtual meeting room online.
It is best if you are seated in a private area where you can talk briefly but openly about what you are going through. I’ll ask a few questions to make sure we’re going to be a good fit to work with one another. If we schedule our first actual appointment, you’ll receive an email with a similar link for that appointment. Simple!
For many reasons, some people choose to attend telehealth therapy sessions from their phones. While this reduces the video and audio quality a bit, it is OK with me! People who want to avoid using their work computers or who want to meet from the privacy of their parked car often choose this route. To use some phones, you’ll need to download an app called “Telehealth by SimplePractice” in order to access the secure video chat rooms. You will be prompted to do so after clicking the link to join the session.

Let’s start with scheduling a free, 15-minute consultation. This will be a short, simple conversation in which you can ask questions and we can both evaluate whether or not I can help you. If I can help, then we’ll schedule an appointment, usually within 2 weeks of the call. If I can’t help, I’ll refer you to someone who can.
